2 more heat records set in Vt BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - The National Weather Service says two more high temperature records have been set in Vermont The high of 97 in Burlington Thursday eclipsed the previous high of 95, set in 1953, The top of Mount Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak, hit a high of 77, beating the previous high of 76, set in 1988.
