George Jones Health Update: Legend Ready to Return to Stage

George Jones is ready to get back on stage! His wife, Nancy, reports that the 80-year-old country legend, who suffered an upper respiratory infection that required two hospitalizations and time off the road to recuperate, is feeling better and anxious to resume touring.
"George saw his doctor today [Thursday, June 21] and the doctor said it was time to hit the road and start singing to his fans," she shared on her Facebook page (quote via Country Weekly). "So, Possum will be seeing you all soon. He is so excited. Once again, we want to thank everyone for your prayers and love shown to us."
